Biography
Angus Vincent is a Plains Cree and hails from the Waterhen Lake First Nation. He has been performing original works since 2002 and has been gaining invaluable experience and networking as much as possible since then. During that time, he’s played a lot of shows all over the province under his own stage name as well as the band name “Soundmyne ” & “The Jaywalkers”, including, but not limited to:
GX Star Search Finals – Yorkton SK – 3rd place finish Angus’ 1 st
single off TENSION off his debut album, released April 2018, reached #3 on the Indigenous Music Countdown in December of 2018. He received airplay on various radio stations with his 2nd track IT’S ABOUT TIME off his debut album and was very happy with the response on that track.
Recently, Angus released the 1 st single off his follow up EP and anticipates an February 2020 release date. Real Love is the title of this first single and it has been getting great airplay at MBC in Sask and Eagle Point in Ontario. He will be releasing the 2nd single by January 31, 2020. He is very excited about this release as it contains some Plains Cree Language, which Angus feels is very important to himas well as his children.
Angus has been very consistent with his love of music as shown in his resume, musical accomplishments, and network. He will continue to strive for his goal of assisting other people going through similar struggles in hopes that they will get touched by his music. Angus can be found at:
